I am extremely proud of the actors who make up Act4Murder. They come to me with a wide range of experience that includes not only acting, but singing, dancing, juggling, and everything in between.

Ron Altman	A new addition to Act4Murder, Ron is retired from the United States Information Agency in Wash. DC, where he was a Television Broadcast Technician. He had a long career in radio and television, both as a technician and as an announcer/narrator. He has voiced thousands of news stories and hundreds of documentaries. His 12-year Air Force career was spent as a theater projectionist, radar technician and electronics instructor. A relative late-comer to the stage, his first role was Shepard Henderson in Bell, Book & Candle for a local theater group in his native Michigan. It would be another 35 years before the acting bug bit him again. Having retired to Florida, he "discovered" the Corner Pocket Theater, in 2002. There he filled several roles in Christmas Carol and Love, Sex and the IRS, as well as helping with the sound/lighting in Dracula. He's also been seen in a number of plays at Northwest Florida State College: in Twain By the Tale he provided voices for a number of puppets (both male and female) as well as voicing a horse, donkey and parrot! Other plays were Taming of the Shrew, The Mousetrap, And Then There Were None, Come Blow Your Horn, and As You Like It. For Act4Murder, Ron appears as Soupy Minestrone in their newest play, GANGSTERS ON THE GANGPLANK.
Cynthia Bergquist	Cynthia is a mother of two who lives and works in Ft. Walton Beach. She appeared in the Stage Crafter's presentation of Sylvia, and has worked backstage for the Performing Arts Center. In Act4Murder, Cynthia plays Kitty Wunkus in A VACATION TO DIE FOR and PODUNK PANDEMONIUM, Phonet in BEDLAM IN CABIN B and CHAOS ON THE CHRISTMAS CRUISE, Misty Toulong and Miss Nanny in DEADLY VOWS, Hart Braker in DEATH BY CANDYGRAM and DEATH BY VALENTINE, Trudy Frudee in DECKED OUT FOR DEATH and GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, Taryn Wear in HORSIN' AROUND WITH MURDER, Iona Crump in MAYHEM AT THE MONSTER BASH and MURDER AT THE MONSTER BASH, and Kelly Karma in PEACE, LOVE... AND MURDER!
Heidi Best-Swift	Heidi was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she studied Communication at the University of Cincinnati. She moved to Fort Walton Beach in 2002, met the man of her dreams (now a retired Air Force Tech Sgt), and has two beautiful boys. Heidi recently ended her career in retail management to stay home with her boys and focus on them and her passion for cake decorating. She has always had a passion for performing, but has never had the opportunity to pursue it, until now. Even though she views her numerous years of retail/restaurant experience as a daily performance, it really wasn't quite the same thing. Heidi is excited to be joining Act4Murder, performing her first role as Patsy DeCline in BEBOPPED AT THE SOCK HOP.
Joe Chase	Joe is retired from the Air Force and teaches math at Okaloosa Walton College. Joe's theater experience began in college with parts in Lil Abner and Becket. During his two tours at Eglin AFB, Joe played roles in The Boyfriend, Arsenic and Old Lace, Damn Yankees, andBell, Book and Candle. He also recently joined the drama team at his church, performing in Don't Kick the Turkeys. In Act4Murder, Joe plays Fred Flint in BEDLAM IN CABIN B, Drew Blood in DEATH BY CANDYGRAM and DEATH BY VALENTINE, Captain Dunder in DECKED OUT FOR DEATH, Mayor Paul Tishen in FATAL FOOTBALL FEVER, Dr. Will Beabore in GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, Don Kashane in KNOCK 'EM DEAD, Conner Crump in MAYHEM AT THE MONSTER BASH and MURDER AT THE MONSTER BASH, Tom Katz in MURDER ON THE REBOUND, Ian Ventor in MUSCLING IN ON MURDER, Dunder Doodie in ON STAGE FOR MURDER, Rock Steady in PEACE, LOVE... Victoria Cruz	Victoria, a native of Burmingham, has been involved in theater for almost 10 years, performing parts in Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical, the Musical, and Watermelon just to name a few. She is extremely excited about being a part of Act4Murder, where she performs as June Bug in BEBOPPED AT THE SOCK HOP, and Dr. Judy Frudee in GOOD GRAPE HUNTING.
Jim Downum	Jim works at the Okaloosa County Regional Airport as a Jet Re-fueler. He is a devoted father of two, living in Shalimar with his talented wife, Sharon. He claims to be "full of gas" all day, every day. All we know is that Jim is a versatile and talented actor who is a real asset to Act4Murder. For Act4Murder, Jim plays the roles of Tommy Wunkus in A VACATION TO DIE FOR and PODUNK PANDEMONIUM, the Russian Captain Stubby in BEDLAM IN CABIN B, CHAOS ON THE CHRISTMAS CRUISE, and DECKED OUT FOR DEATH, Bill Willkill in DEATH BY VALENTINE, Heathro Ancatch in FATAL FOOTBALL FEVER, King Petty in FOUL PLAY ON THE SPEEDWAY, Doody Frudee in GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, Houston Dallas in HORSIN' AROUND WITH MURDER, Rusty Pipes in KNOCK 'EM DEAD, Don "Frudy" Spumoni in MOBBED UP FOR MURDER and GANGSTERS ON THE GANGPLANK, Tommy Countem in MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE, Matt Napper in MUSCLING IN ON MURDER, Evan S. Debby Geisen	Debby is a Financial Analyst at Eglin AFB. She has lived and worked in several foreign countries, but has now settled down in Niceville, Florida. She started acting in local Community Theater in Newport News, Virginia. Her first role was as one of the showgirls in Gypsy. From there she went on to play the leading role of Hippolyte, Queen of the Amazons, in By Jupiter. Debby also sings with the Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus, which gives her the opportunity to act and sing in short vignettes presented during two performances each year. For Act4Murder, Debby plays the roles of Nina Colada in BEDLAM IN CABIN B and CHAOS ON THE CHRISTMAS CRUISE, Nancy Ann SeAnsee in FATAL FOOTBALL FEVER, Marion Haste in DECKED OUT FOR DEATH and KNOCK 'EM DEAD, Toni "Two Times" Tortono in MOBBED UP FOR MURDER, Betty B. Ready in MURDER ON THE REBOUND, and Dee Looder in THE MYSTERY OF RED LEG THE DREADED, PIRATE OF THE GULF.
Paula Hilton	Paula is the founder of Act4Murder, as well as the director, producer and author of all 25 plays performed by her troupe. She lives in Ft. Walton Beach, and in her spare time... oops. She doesn't have any spare time! In addition to stage managing all shows, she plays the roles of Wynonna Dingess in A VACATION TO DIE FOR, Les Abelle in FATAL FOOTBALL FEVER, Deneeze Areshot in HORSIN' AROUND WITH MURDER, Ivanna Crump in MAYHEM AT THE MONSTER BASH, and Iona and Ivanna Crump in MURDER AT THE MONSTER BASH.
Jessika Kelsh	Jessika is an artist studying life while working as a bartender, and is an all-around wonderful girl. In addition to stage managing shows, she also plays the role of the rich spoiled teenager, Candy Valentine, in both DEATH BY CANDYGRAM and DEATH BY VALENTINE.
Rochelle Kimball	Rochelle is an accounts manager in Ft. Walton Beach, and lives in Crestview with her husband and her daughters. Rochelle is the choreographer for Act4Murder, and has choreographed dance routines for BEDLAM IN CABIN B, DEADLY VOWS, DEATH BY CANDYGRAM, DEATH BY VALENTINE, DECKED OUT FOR DEATH, GANGSTERS ON THE GANGPLANK, GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, MOBBED UP FOR MURDER, MURDER AT THE MONSTER BASH, MURDER ON THE REBOUND, MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE, MUSCLING IN ON MURDER, ON STAGE FOR MURDER, PEACE, LOVE... AND MURDER!, and TOP O' THE MURDER TO YOU. In addition to choreographer, she often assumes the position of Stage Manager for Act4Murder, and has performed as Misty Toulong in DEADLY VOWS.
Chris Manson	During his youth, Chris performed stand-up comedy, published his own humor magazine, won several "Addy" awards for print and radio advertising, and is an award-winning journalist and cartoonist. For Act4Murder, Chris shows his genuine flair for comedy, appearing as Bunky Wonky in A VACATION TO DIE FOR and PODUNK PANDEMONIUM, DJ Barry Contrary in BEBOPPED AT THE SOCK HOP, VJ the Voodoo DJ in BEDLAM IN CABIN B and CHAOS ON THE CHRISTMAS CRUISE, Dusty Toulong and Morvin Goodfrend in DEADLY VOWS, Rock Bottom in DEATH BY CANDYGRAM and DEATH BY VALENTINE, Andre Pennewer in FATAL FOOTBALL FEVER, Lee Shurley in FOUL PLAY ON THE SPEEDWAY, Dr. William Beabore and Rudy Frudee in GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, Steed Roper in HORSIN' AROUND WITH MURDER, Stan Back in KNOCK 'EM DEAD, Clark Crump in MAYHEM AT THE MONSTER BASH and MURDER AT THE MONSTER BASH, Smokey Provolone in MOBBED UP FOR MURDER and GANGSTERS ON THE GANGPLANK, Lotta Heiney in MURDER ON THE REBOUND, Harry Gambles in MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE, Michael Bycle in MUSCLING IN ON MURDER, Red Leg, in THE MYSTERY OF RED LEG THE DREADED, PIRATE OF THE GULF!, Maverick in ON STAGE FOR MURDER, and Arty Fischal in DECKED OUT FOR DEATH and PEACE, LOVE... AND MURDER! In addition to acting, Chris is the editor for the Beachcomber Magazine. He has also written for "Mad Magazine," "Rock & Rap Confidential," "Amplifier Magazine" and the Internet site cdreviews.com. (Note from Paula: Chris is awesome, but his best gig is as my significant other. Love you, baby!)
Jenny McNiven	Jenny has been performing for the last 15 years. She is a graduate of the Oswego University Theatre program in New York, and has also studied opera with the University of Wollongong, Australia. Most recently she was seen at the Harbor Playhouse in Corpus Christi, TX, and before that with Park Playhouse in New York. Favorite roles include Lily in The Secret Garden, Lady MacBeth in MacBeth, Eve in The Apple Tree, Sandy and Frenchy in Grease, and Tuptim in The King & I. At the moment, Jenny is working on a second degree in historical archaeology. For Act4Murder, Jenny has performed as Becky Boudreaux in A VACATION TO DIE FOR, Bubble Braker in DEATH BY CANDYGRAM, Darlington Stripes in FOUL PLAY ON THE SPEEDWAY, Olive Ascarone in MOBBED UP FOR MURDER and Frieda Beemee in MURDER ON THE REBOUND.
Karen Monroe	Karen discovered her love of theatre when she got her first role as the Monkey King in a Children's Theatre Summer production of Monkey Magic! Since then, Karen has been involved in many shows both onstage and off. She studied Theatre Education at the University of Florida and went on to become director and founder of the Visual and Performing Arts Drama program at an Orlando middle school. She lives in Ft. Walton Beach with her incredible husband and two adorable sons. She currently teaches mathematics at a local middle school. Some of Karen's favorite show credits include Alice in Wonderland, Bye, Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and As You Like It. She is thrilled to be joining the Act4Murder cast in her first show with the group, playing Lilly White in BEBOPPED AT THE SOCK HOP.
Ken Olson	Back in his pre-collegiate days, Ken aspired to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and become an actor and director. The realization of that dream changed when he discovered that there was more consistent money in engineering and pursued that avenue instead. When Ken is not practicing martial arts, taking pictures, or keeping up with his sons' activities, he is utilizing his engineering degree (and maybe even his acting skills) working as a Program Manager at Eglin AFB. He also finds time to organize and run poker tournaments. He mows his lawn and receives his snail mail in Mary Esther. For Act4Murder, Ken plays the roles of Melvin Delvis in BEBOPPED AT THE SOCK HOP, Noah Rules in DEATH BY CANDYGRAM and DECKED OUT FOR DEATH, Dan C. SeAnsee in FATAL FOOTBALL FEVER, Sly Rider in FOUL PLAY ON THE SPEEDWAY, Phillipe Iglasius Gauntz (PIG) in ON STAGE FOR MURDER, Stu Undwuri in PEACE, LOVE... AND MURDER!, and Angus O'Cloolismann in TOP O' THE MURDER TO YOU.
Julie Marilyn Shaw	Jules Shaw was educated to be an attorney, but prefers acting as she says "the courtroom is merely a stage with worse lighting." ;) She also has a background in dancing, singing, and psychology - and still isn't sure what she wants to be when she grows up! She has stage and commercial experience in Texas, Tennessee, Delaware, and Oklahoma. Among her favorite roles are Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Winifred in Once Upon A Mattress, Eleanor Ruttee in The King vs. Eleanor Ruttee, and multiple roles in Delaware Unleashed. New to the area, Jules is married to her college sweetheart and currently a stay-at-home Mom to black lab "Jet." For Act4Murder, Jules plays Coco Puff in DEATH BY VALENTINE and DECKED OUT FOR DEATH, Royal Payne in KNOCK 'EM DEAD, Olivia Ascolane in MOBBED UP FOR MURDER, Martha Cheats in MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE, Callie Katz in MUSCLING IN ON MURDER, Grayen Stander in THE MYSTERY OF RED LEG THE DREADED, PIRATE OF THE GULF, Moonglow Peacinluv in PEACE, LOVE... Carly Spade	Carly was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and moved to the panhandle area a little over a year ago. She has over a dozen independent films to her credit, and has just recently started to develop her theater credits. Her debut theater performances were in Pensacola Little Theater's, "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" as The Gemini, and "Leading Ladies" as Audrey. She works a retail job, and a side commissioned based job (digital coloring for comic books), to pay the bills while heavily pursuing her acting career. For Act4Murder, Carly plays Catrina Cooks in CHAOS ON THE CHRISTMAS CRUISE, Melissa Fobia in DECKED OUT FOR DEATH and FOUL PLAY ON THE SPEEDWAY, and Sadie FitzAngus in TOP O' THE MURDER TO YOU.
Mary Ann Troiano	Mary Ann Troiano has been dreaming of becoming an actress for a very long time. She remembers role-playing in front of her mirror at home and directing her friends in imaginary stories and shows at the ripe old age of 2. But 4 years ago she turned her dream into reality, beginning with the role of Steffy in I Ought to be in Pictures at OWC, moving on to Mariette in The Dinner Party and the Duchess of York at OWC, and now joining Act4Murder. Since moving to the Niceville area in 1972, she has owned a restaurant, managed a hotel, and is now in real estate, so whether she's on or off the stage, she's always performing to the public! Sally Whitesell	Sally has her own training and consulting company and teaches yoga at Bluewater Fitness Center. She is originally from Indiana but now enjoys life in Niceville with her husband Steve and dog Tele. Sally has appeared in many local and national television commercials and training videos and has worked on two major films. She hosted over 60 commercially produced music video programs called The Jazz Box, interviewed successful CEOs on Success Stories and performed improv on The Comedy Warehouse. Her stage experience started with playing Juliet in high school and then she moved into writing and performing Christian dramas in many churches. Sally joins Act4Murder playing Wynonna Dingess in PODUNK PANDEMONIUM.
Melissa Wolf-Bates	Melissa is a talented actress who has appeared in over thirty productions on several of our local stages including Fort Walton Beach High, Northwest Florida State College, Florida Chautauqua Theatre, and Stage Crafters Community Theatre. Some of her favorite roles are Mary Warren in The Crucible, Elma in Bus Stop, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde the Musical, and Mae "Sister Woman" in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. If you've missed her onstage you've probably seen her out in the community at one of the many Relay for Life events in the area, as she's been on multiple committees with the American Cancer Society's annual event for almost eight years. For Act4Murder, Melissa plays Prudy Frudee in GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, Cheyenne Sassy in HORSIN' AROUND WITH MURDER, and Isabella Crump in DECKED OUT FOR DEATH and MAYHEM AT THE MONSTER BASH.
Kay Yarbrough	As a theater major at Auburn University, Kay was involved in several productions onstage and behind the scenes including Celebration, Picnic and A Man for All Seasons. She has performed in community theater in Georgia and Florida in productions of The Miracle Worker, Death Trap and No Sex Please, Were British. , as well as several television commercials. Kay loves performing the different character roles with Act4Murder where she can be seen as Mama Wynonna Dingess in A VACATION TO DIE FOR, DECKED OUT FOR DEATH and PODUNK PANDEMONIUM, Skipper Duhl in CHAOS ON THE CHRISTMAS CRUISE, Mary Toulong in DEADLY VOWS, Grayen Pree in FOUL PLAY ON THE SPEEDWAY, Starchy Ciabatta in GANGSTERS ON THE GANGPLANK, Judy Frudee in GOOD GRAPE HUNTING, Ivana Crump in MAYHEM AT THE MONSTER BASH and MURDER AT THE MONSTER BASH, Ida Zervbetter in MURDER ON THE REBOUND, Deidre in ON STAGE FOR MURDER, and Aunt Tishy Fishal in PEACE, LOVE... AND MURDER! Her performances are dedicated to her late father who said she would never make a dime acting.
